Scott Brown Demands Answers On Waltham Mail Sorting Center Closing

Still time to adjust decision.

Senator Scott Brown, R-MA, is demanding answers on the possible closing of the mail sorting center in North Waltham.

According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Brown, in a letter to U.S. Postmaster Patrick Donohue, says he is concerned with the lack of transparency in the decision making process to close the Waltham facility and three others in the state. Brown said he is concerned that the decision has not been explained well. He is also concerned that operations and jobs at the impacted sites would move to Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Despite his cocnern's, the Postal Service still has time to explain their decision and make changes to it, according to the paper.
