Say Hi To Waltham Neighbors Campaign Steaming Ahead!

"Say Hi" week moving along!

REACH Beyond Domestic Violence's "Say Hi To Your Neighbor" Week is racking up the "hellos."

As of yesterday, REACH had about 374 greetings, with many more not yet counted, according to REACH Comunity Organizer Allison Berry, as she canvassed Moody Street saying hello to pedestrians. They are aiming to get 2012.

The "Say Hi" week is part of REACH's Small Actions Campaign intended to create a greater sense of community in Waltham and help prevent domestic violence.

The "Say Hi" wraps up with three more events. On Saturday, REACH organizers will be at from 12 - 2 p.m. giving updates on the "Say Hi" week. On Sunday, the "Say Hi" week moves to the First Lutheran Church on Eddy Street for a joint worship service with the Korean Hope Church.
