Republicans Holding a Meet the Candidates Night in Watertown
Local candidates include State Senate challenger Steve Aylward and 10th Middlesex District candidate Francis Stanton.
The Watertown Republican Town Committee will host a meet the candidate night on May 21 in Watertown along with other area Republican groups.
The event will be held a Marine Corps League Shutt Detachment, 215 Mt. Auburn St., at 7 p.m.
Candidates running for seats in Watertown include Watertown's Steve Aylward, who is running for the Second Suffolk and Middlesex State Senate Seat, and Waltham's Francis Stanton, who is running for the 10th Middlesex State Representative seat.
Other candiates who will attend the event are:
- Jeff Semon and Frank Addivinola - U.S. Congress, 5th Congressional District
- Tomi Olson - 24th Middlesex State Representative
- Thomas Vasconcelos - 26th Middlesex State Representative
- Charles Klauder - Second Suffolk State Representative
The evening begins with the meet and greet, which will be followed by a question and answer period.
The event will be hosted in conjunction with the Boston Republican City Committee, the Belmont Republican Town Committee, the Cambridge Republican City Committee, the Greater Waltham Tea Party and the Waltham Republican City Committee.
