Public Hearing For Five Guys Tonight

The public is welcome to attend tonight's hearing.

A public hearing for Five Guys' plans to open a store in at the Main Street Marketplace in Waltham will be held tonight during the City Council meeting at City Hall.

Project officials will present their plans for a hamburger restaurant during the 8 p.m. hearing. Specifically, the company is seeking a fast-food permit, which the City Council must approve before the location can open.

Tonight is the night. This needs to be approved. Enough of the feet dragging this will be a big boost for Waltham and we need something other than IParty to bring in business and people to the plaza. You have a problem with traffic then move. I saw the traffic improvements upclose today they will be fine and accommodate the proposed expected traffic.

Jen P: I believe they are saying something like 11AM-9PM or 10PM something around there.

Thanks Matt. I'm not sure why Five Guys took so long to kick off the process. It's Public Hearing, then committee meeting and then back to City Council for a vote. I've seen January as a proposed opening time.
The issue of the drive-thru has been resolved, so I don't expect a traffic discussion.
