Prayer Services, Candlelight Vigil Planned for Missing BC Student
Students and family members are praying for the return of 21-year-old Franco Garcia, who has been missing for more than a week.
It's been a week since friends and family have seen missing Boston College student Franco Garcia. He was last spotted at Mary Ann's bar in Cleveland Circle (Brighton) around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Garcia, a West Newton resident, is described as a Hispanic male, 21, about 5'9" tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue-and-white-striped button-down shirt, a North Face jacket, and glasses.
Friends and family have planned prayer services and a candlelight vigil for Garcia tonight at tomorrow:
- Mass for Franco Garcia, 7:30 p.m. tonight at Our Lady of Help Church in Newtonville.
- Prayers of Hope for Franco, 9 p.m. tonight at St. Ingnatius of Loyola (Upper Church) at Boston College.
- Candellight Vigil for Franco Garcia, 7 p.m. at Cassidy Playground, near the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.
