Hubway, a new and popular bike sharing program in Boston, has expanded into Brookline, giving residents more options to get around the city. A big city like Waltham could be suitable for such a program and could help alleviate traffic issues in the city. 

HOW IT WORKS

• Riders can pick up a bike in one community served by Hubway and drop it off in another town where Hubway operates, according to Brookline Patch.
• Users pay an annual membership free as well as usage fees after 30 minutes, according to its' website.
