UPDATED, 5:12 p.m. with information from Waltham 911 center Twitter: Police have located Macliff Matellas. He is "safe and sound."

Waltham Police are asking the public's assistance in finding a missing fourth grader who was last seen at about noon today at Our Lady's Academy.
The student is Macliff Matellas, described as a black heavy-set youngster wearing a blue school uniform. The student lives in the downtown area.
Police are currently doing door-to-door searches.
