UPDATE: Pedestrian Struck on Route 128 in Waltham; Life-Threatening Injuries

The accident involved a tractor trailer truck.

 

UPDATED, 10:36 p.m.: According to State Police, the victim was taken to  assachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. All lanes have reopened. State Police are investigating the crash.

UPDATED, 10:30 p.m.: Massachusetts State Police have confirmed the incident via their Twitter feeding saying it involved a tractor trailer truck.

State Police are responding to reports of a pedestrian struck by a car on Route 128 north near the Route 20 overpass, according to Twitter and scanner reports. 

The State Police Photograph and Reconstruction units have been requested to the scene.
