New Waltham Business Now Open

The new business is located at Main Street Marketplace.

Doctors Express, a new urgent care center, has opened its Waltham location at 1030 Main St.

The new medical care facility officially opened after a Thursday, Nov. 29 ribbon-cutting event, according to a press release. 

“We look forward to becoming part of the Waltham/MetroWest community, providing patients with affordable and convenient healthcare fast, so they can receive the medical care they need without losing hours in the day," said Dave Adams, the manager of Doctors Express in Waltham in a statement.

Mayor Jeanette McCarthy, State Rep. John Lawn and City Councilor Gary Marchese also attended the opening. 

The health care center aims to provide care at a lower cost than emergency rooms and in under one hour.

Panera Bread and Massage Envy all have plans to open at the plaza. Another store, has already opened.
