New Restaurant Coming to Waltham
The restaurant would be at the site of the former Picadilly Pub.
A new restaurant will likely open in Waltham in March, according to the Boston Globe.
The Copper House Tavern is set to open at the former Piccadilly Pub location in the Best Western Hotel at 380 Winter St. in Waltham in March, according to the Boston Globe.
The eatery's owner, Greg Coughlin, told the Globe the food would include dishes like nachos, but with a twist. The restaurant’s website describes the food as “innovative.”
Copper House joins the growing list of restaurants with plans for Waltham. Five Guys, Chipotle, Panera Bread, Jake ‘n Joes, and several others have all announced plans for new locations in Waltham.

Great. How long before the City Council steps in and comes up with a reason for them to delay the opening?

The Pic-A-Dilly pub had more pine and lacquer than any structure I have ever seen built.

I hope it's successful...I'm surprised the hotel space has gone empty for so long. It seems that the Best Western and Marriott would want to offer guests nearby eateries, and it hasn't looked good having that space empty for so long.

The restaurant will fail, why? lousy plowing by the city to clear the road leading to it...Unless of course they put the restaurant next to the mayor's house.

I hope they accept EBT, seeing that hotel area is full of layabouts. That's where your tax dollars are going people
