Movie Filming in Waltham on Wednesday

Scenes for 'Labor Day,' a film starring Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet will be shot in Waltham this week.

 

Scenes for the upcoming film "Labor Day," starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin will be shot on Wednesday, Aug. 8 near Wilson's Diner on Main Street in Waltham, according to the Waltham Police Facebook page.

Filming will commence at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Motorists should expect road closures in the area. 

Waltham Police Sgt. Willaim Gallant tweeted that "no big stars" would be in Waltham for the movie. 

The movie has also been filming in Acton and Sudbury.

The Facebook post says August 8th, which would be Wednesday, not Monday.

it will now be on Friday our street will be blocked off on Friday for the filming at wilson diner.
