Markey Says He Will Run For U.S. Senate
Waltham's Congressman Edward Markey says he will run for Sen. John Kerry's seat, if Kerry is appointed U.S. Secretary of State.
The Associated Press and the Boston Herald are reporting that Framingham's Congressman Edward Markey, D-Malden, says he will run for Sen. John Kerry's seat, if Kerry is appointed U.S. Secretary of State.
Markey, who has been a U.S. Representative since 1976, represents Waltham.
Markey, the dean of the state's congressional delegation, issued a statement Thursday saying he's decided to run for Kerry's seat.

And that's why I was reading the article, to see if there was a quick way to get to the Markey For Senate site to volunteer my $ and time knowing that nothing arouses the ignorant to hate more than attempting to think different.
