Letter To The Editor: Gerry Dembrowski, candidate for U.S. Congress
Candidate is looking to take incumbent Ed Markey's seat.
The following is a letter to the editor from Gerry Dembrowski, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Ed Markey, D-MA for the 7th Congressional seat, which includes Waltham.
Sixty Years ago Harry Truman said “the buck stops here.”
Those in Congress, like Senator Kerry, blame the Tea-party for our economic downgrade and want the media to ignore pleas by citizen patriots to cut government spending, reduce the debt, and balance the budget. This is unacceptable!
Last year Secretary of State Clinton has said our national debt is a national security problem and Fed. Chair Bernanke said we cannot afford to continue spending, nor can a fragile economy support more taxes. IBM offered to help reduce Medicare fraud and abuse by $900 billion. To this day their warnings are ignored by the Obama administration.
It’s time to stop the slogans and provide solutions necessary to avoid economic catastrophe. We need new leaders who are unwavering in their mind-set to do what is right for America!
