What's Happening With Waltham Carjacker?

Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham, is charged with carjacking a woman at needlepoint.

 

A Middlesex Superior Court grand jury has indicted Scott Steverding, 30 , of Waltham, on charges that he carjacked a young woman in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot on Harvard Street recently.

Steverding is facing charges for armed carjacking, unarmed robery, armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office. He has yet to be arraigned. The unarmed robbery charge stems from an alleged Aug. 13 incident in Waltham.

Authorities believe Steverding carjacked a 17-year-old woman at needlepoint on Aug. 14, claiming the needle had HIV-tained blood, according to the DA's office. Steverding stole the car the after the woman fled. Steverding was later arrested in Cambridge.

Police identified Steverding from a surveillance video of the incident. They also later identified him as the alleged robber of the BP gas station on Maple Street on Aug. 13, according to the DA's office. He was later ordered held without bail after a dangerousness hearing.

thank god ....get your facts straight before u throw a key away on a human that dosent deserve it....hang strong scott u gonna make out fine ...... there has been worst cases and the human was aeither police officer or a govenment person so u will turn out fine .....people dont really know who the real u is...only your loved ones do....we got u ....yeah pay for wrong doing but not for something that is a lye..
