A public hearing to discuss the proposal to bring a Chipotle Mexican Grill to Waltham will be held on Tuesday, May 29.

The hearing on the company's request for a special permit to operat e a fast food restaurant will start at around 8 p.m. at City Hall.

While few details are known about the proposal, the council's agenda reveals the company is trying to locate a new store at 1006 and 1022 Main Street (it would be one store), the site of the former Main Street Ford.
