Have You Seen This Robbery Suspect in Waltham?

Police asking for assistance in finding man who allegedly robbed a CVS Pharmacy

 

Waltham Police are asking the public for help in finding an unarmed robbery suspect.

The man, pictured in the photo box to the right, allegedly robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 12 Harvard St., just past midnight on May 31, according to Waltham Police Detective Sgt. Joseph Guigno.

The suspect took a taxi from Carter Street to the CVS Pharmacy on Harvard Street and strolled up to the clerk's counter. 

“A note was passed to the clerk to give him money and nobody would get hurt. There was no weapon shown or inferred," Guigno said. 

The suspect got away with around $125 and took the same taxi to upper Moody Street, according to Guigno.

He's committed another robbery in Brookline--these stories should be linked for wider distribution (from wcvb.com, June 7th).

Hi Karen,
Thanks for calling that to my attention. I saw the Brookline story, but I never made the potential link to the Waltham robbery. Myself and the Brookline editor are looking into whether the two incidents are related.
