Lost Waltham Dog Found

Family reunited with lost dog!

UPDATED, 22:51 p.m.: Noelani has been reunited with his family. It's owner, Gordon Broff, in the comment section below said, "After some involvement by the Waltham police department we got a call back from one of the people involved and about an hour ago she was returned to our home. We are so very glad to have her home safe and sound. Thank you again for this wonderful article and helping us to get the word out, it is very much appreciated!"

Have you seen a missing Waltham dog in your neighborhood?

Noelani, a 1 and a half year-old dog, went missing from its Smith Street home yesterday at around 7:30 p.m., according to its owner Gordon Broff.

Broff, in a quck interview with Waltham Patch on Easter Sunday, said his female dog is a mutt with Pomeranian, Lhasa Apso and Chihuahua characteristics. She responds to whistling and her name and would likely respond to calls.

“She is very friendly,” Broff said.

Noelani escaped from the family's back yard through an open gate. The family reported the missing dog to police but has not yet had any luck finding her.

Anybody who sees the dog should contact the Broff's at 808-780-5926 or broff96734@yahoo.com.

Keeping our fingers crossed, looks like someone might have found her the night we lost her at the Gulf gas station on Trapelo Rd. We received a call very late Sunday night.

Will update post soon, looking to meet up with the person who found her Monday to bring her home.

G

The person that supposedly has her is not returning phone calls and has not arranged pick up. We don't understand. We miss her so much and really want her home safe. I hope that this person really does have her and we are not just getting the run around, that would be heartbreaking.

I'm assuming this is Ms. Broff, you have the option of calling Waltham Police for assistance.
