• Why Go:  Bring your family and friends to Watertown’s annual Faire on the Square and enjoy children’s rides, music, crafts, dance performances, and much more. Festivities will take place in Saltonstall Park, in and around Town Hall, behind the Boys & Girls Club and behind the library.

Hovey Players Present "The Tempest" 

• Where/When: Abbott Memorial Theater, 9 Spring St., Waltham, Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.
• Why Go: This is the final weekend of the Hovey Players production of William Shakespeare’s "The Tempest."  The human emotions of love, revenge and forgiveness are all on display by this talented group of actors.

17^th Annual Weston Antique Car Show

• Where/When: Weston Town Hall, 11 Townhouse Rd., Weston, Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Why Go: Travel west down Main Street to see hundreds of beautiful cars from Indy race cars to classic Ferraris and Jaguars to antique Studebakers and Fords. Car lovers of all ages will enjoy this popular auto show.

Concert: Anthology Takes a Road Trip

• Where/When: Newton Free Library, 330 Homer St., Newton Center, Sunday, 2 p.m.
• Why Go: Feel the blues in New Orleans, hear jazz along Route 66, and ride the surf in California as you take a musical road trip with Anthology, a female vocal quartet. Their varied repertoire features classical choral music, hot jazz, Renaissance polyphony, and world folk traditions.
