Hungry for chocolate?
Look no further than Jan. 29 when the Newton and Waltham Rotary Club holds is 11th annual Death By Chocolate contest at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Newton. The event starts at 1 p.m. according to a press release from the group.
Participants can sample chocolate, cake, brownies and other sweets created by local vendors and then judge them. The event ends at 4 p.m. Free parking is available.
According to the events Web site, proceeds from the event will go to the local Boys and Girls Clubs, The Salvation Army and the YMCA and more.
Tickets for adults are $15, and $5 for children. Tickets are available at the Watertown Savings Bank on Lexington Street in Waltham and the YMCA at 276 Church St. in Newton.
