Brandeis Student Died on Sunday

A Brandeis University student recently died during a leave of absence from the school.

 

A Brandeis University student died on Sunday, Dec. 16, according to the campus student newspaper, The Justice. 

Jonathan Roth, 21, of Teaneck, New Jersey, had taken a leave of absence for the fall semester and was not on campus when he died, a university official told the newspaper. He did not specify how Roth died. 

Funeral services are planned for Roth in New Jersey, according to the newspaper.

Why is suicide such a taboo subject?? As. parent I think it is important that it not be "brushed under the rug"; we need to address why our sons & daughters see it as an option and let them know it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It has become an epidemic & needs to be addressed!
