Alleged Waltham Carjacker Held After Dangerousness Hearing
Scott Steverding is accused of carjacking a woman outside a Waltham CVS on Aug. 13.
A 30-year-old Waltham man accused of carjacking a teenager was ordered held without bail after a dangerousness hearing at Waltham District Court on Aug. 20, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.
Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham, is facing a slew of charges, including armed carjackign and attempted murder, for allegedly carjacking a woman outside of the CVS Pharmacy on Harvard Street on Aug. 13. Police say Steverding threatened to stab the victim with a syring filled with what he said was HIV-tainted blood.
Steverding is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 20 at Waltham District Court, according to the DA's office.
