Experience part of the Western Greenway Trail not frequently visited by others this Saturday on a guided 2-hour hike with the Waltham Land Trust. Dave Kehs, WLT Director, will lead this walk across the Met State property through the Beaver Brook North Reservation and back, traversing a lengthy volunteer-built boardwalk over wetlands, stopping at the old Met-Fernald cemetary, and checking out an interpretive trail "in the making" along Met State's front lawn. Meet your neighbors and other nature enthusiasts at 1 pm this Saturday by the McLaughlin Building on the Metropolitan Parkway North (the road heading north from Trapelo at its intersection with Forest Street).
