New Goodwill Donation Center Coming to Waltham

Waltham will soon host a new Goodwill donation location, according to the charity.

The donation truck will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 4 at 1100 Lexington St. (Waltham Plaza), according to Goodwill Massachusetts's Twitter feed. 

Patrons can drop-off clothes and many other types of items which will the be given to charity. The truck will be open every day from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Just to note, this appears to only be a donation center (not a place to shop). Also, it's not a storefront, but a truck. Probably something along these lines: http://bit.ly/UDqpmJ

Yes there is one in Lexington, Ma behind Wal-Greens... Yes it a drop-off only I always drop off at Lexington, Ma, but now we are going to have one here... But if all of you still wants to drop-off you can also go too the one on Moody Street it just has the same thing, but only what they can fit into the store and then it ship off to another stores...

It would be nice if they can add one, where STANDARD-THOMSON CORP at 152 GROVE ST, WALTHAM, MA... Which now is a empty lot, it an ideal for it..

There are boxes at the Stop and Shop on the River St side of that lot. The things are huge and they have different boxes for different items. There's one for clothing, one for household items, and i believe one for books. I'm not sure if its Goodwill that sponsors them, but it is some kind of charitable thing.
