Chickie was born in Cambridge on February 9, 1944, to the late Manuel and Ethel (Polley) Duarte. He has been a Waltham resident for the past fifty-three years. During his life he worked as a bricklayer for the City of Cambridge.
His passion and hobby was antique cars. Chickie owned a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and he spent weekends during the summer at local car shows showing off his prized possession.
His funeral mass was held Saint Mary’s Church, and his body was interred in the Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
