Judging Underway for SBANE's 25th Annual Innovation Awards
Judging for the 25th annual Innovation Awards dinner sponsored by the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) began earlier this week. Of the 185 companies that were nominated for the awards, 10 nominees come from the city of Waltham. These companies are: Black Duck Software Inc, InfoSciTex Corporation, JENTEK Sensors Inc., Affinnova, Avila Therapeutics Inc., Brainshark Inc., Harvest Power Inc., Interleukin Genetics Inc., Mzinga and Viewfinity Inc. In previous years, Mzinga and JENTEX Sensors received Finalist awards at the Gala Dinner.
The 185 companies will be paired down to a list of 20 semi-finalists who will go through a more rigorous process. Of these twenty semi-finalists 8 winners and twelve finalists will be chosen.
