Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts Unveils New Pathway to Leadership at Camp Cedar Hill
Dedication Ceremony Celebrates Girl Scout History
In honor of the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts will unveil the Pathway to Leadership at Camp Cedar Hill in Waltham. The beloved 75-acre site has provided generations of girls around Boston with the opportunity to enjoy traditional camp activities.
Formerly a private estate, Cedar Hill once featured a replica of the maze at Hampton Court Palace in London, complete with 1,000 six-foot-tall arborvitae shrubs. The path will feature commemorative bricks bearing messages from
the Girl Scouts’ many friends. A Yard & A Half Landscaping, generously donated time to design and install the pathway.
