WALTHAM-July 14, 2012 –Alan Khazei, the passionate leader who co-founded City Year and ran for U.S. Senate, today endorsed Joe Kearns Goodwin for state Senate, noting Kearns Goodwin’s stand out commitment to public service and dedication to community.
"Joe is a great candidate who has dedicated his life to service," stated Khazei. "Joe will be an outstanding State Senator. We need to encourage and support new leaders like Joe to get involved in politics and government."
“Alan Khazei is someone who has spent his career helping young people give back to their communities through City Year and national service and I am honored to have his endorsement. We both share a passion and dedication to effect positive change through public service,” Goodwin said.
